Going back to basics this month, and working on completing the starter set of Dark Angels I have been neglecting to finish. First model completed is the Chapter Master / Captain. With an all-new set of paints, I finally felt like I was able to give a decent paint job a go and I am very pleased with my results. Not exactly studio quality, but much better than I have been able to achieve in the past. All that is left is the basing, and possibly some effect work on the relic blade.
I'll be finishing the rest of the Dark Angels soon, and I have a fairly competitive-feeling 1850 list drawn up with a good backstory and fluff (to soothe my inner nerd). Though I will be running them from Codex: SM for the centurions!
