I've had some really good reviews on some of my blog articles recently, but that makes me wonder... does anybody REALLY use these modeling ideas?
Here is my challenge to you, as the reader of these articles.
Send in a picture to cannedflame2005@yahoo.com of a terrain piece or model you made that used an idea you got from this blog. Also, if so desired, include a link to your own website or blog so you get twice the coverage! I am interested to see if anybody actually likes any of the ideas I have brought about on this blog. Additionally, if anybody gleaned some inspiration for a new idea from one of my projects, send that in as well! Nothing beats improving upon an idea!
So get in those pictures and links! On May 1st, this year, I will post an entry with all the pictures and links I receive. So don't delay, act now!
I'm looking to make an Astartes Shrine but until I get some more funds making anything modeling wise is un-possible, If I do do it though then I'll be sure to let you know
ReplyDeleteWhen I read your post about the Shrine I was like well I am not going to build that since I cannot even get around to painting my own minis. I did like the idea of the cake decorating columns for terrain. My wife is always dragging me to michaels so I will check those out to see what I can do with them for a smaller piece/rubble pile.
ReplyDeleteI steal ideas from everyone all the time, I may not use them for upwards of a year (I think that's the longest I held onto an idea) but I keep all the little things for when I do get around to it.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure I've stolen something from here before. Off the top of my head was your Terminator model with the extra armour plates on his chest. I like the look of that. Now I just need a terminator to do it to.
