When I added up the cost it was easily over $1,000 that I had just s**tcanned. Although I wouldn't recommend anything that drastic, over the next year or two I learned what I truly loved about the hobby and got back into it. Sometimes taking a step back from this lets you get things in perspective and during that time the truth of it all will rise to the top.

Cheers.Col. I'd love to play Flames of war too but same Problem here: Too many too expensive models for a decent size army that require too much time spent painting them. Now I'm just really annoyed because I remember seeing all those Mordheim and BFG boxes for half price etc. back in the day but never cared to start another system and now I have to pay double the full price on eBay to get all that stuff in decent condition ;)

TimothyUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13593260584820925662noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8264060005854044282.post-25687713735489595632010-08-18T10:15:38.688-08:002010-08-18T10:15:38.688-08:00Good thing about blogging is that we all can feel ...Good thing about blogging is that we all can feel your pain. I left the GW gaming scene due to location factors and GW's way of making current armies not valid with one change of a book, etc.

Don't get me wrong I love their models ... to build and paint.

I found other gaming systems like Flames of War. I currently have a great location and friends to play with. I just took part in a local tournament, a first for me as well. You would be amazed if you put your ears out there what other game systems are playing nearby.

We also got a local gameshop with great management and product and that helps tons.jmezz382https://www.blogger.com/profile/03324832418577291106noreply@blogger.com
