I may make another in the future, but I have not been playing 40k lately.FoxPhoenix135https://www.blogger.com/profile/09405797216697686661noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8264060005854044282.post-85068860707259625552010-09-04T12:42:10.916-08:002010-09-04T12:42:10.916-08:00Any chance to see the painted result?Any chance to see the painted result?capitano666https://www.blogger.com/profile/07850761474155461909noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8264060005854044282.post-48693669234683710352010-02-09T18:43:02.707-09:002010-02-09T18:43:02.707-09:00It reminds me of nothing so much as the facehugger...It reminds me of nothing so much as the facehugger pods from Aliens.

I like that, and it's cheap. The foam kind of soaks up the paint, effectively dying it. If you are having issues, try watering down PVA glue and using that to harden the surface you want to paint. That should take care of it.FoxPhoenix135https://www.blogger.com/profile/09405797216697686661noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8264060005854044282.post-11522312236004143722010-02-09T07:39:15.067-09:002010-02-09T07:39:15.067-09:00"I'd be worried about the paint chipping ..."I'd be worried about the paint chipping off the soft petals easily" - If this is happening, perhaps you could try dying the petals? I've a take on these myself, but I'm too lazy to make a blog post about them. They don't work as well for MC's as your pods, but I'm quite fond of them for smaller units.

Hopefully I can inspire myself to get off my duff and create the post sometime this week.warhammer39999http://www.warhammer39999.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8264060005854044282.post-69862076208947944572010-02-06T23:00:28.885-09:002010-02-06T23:00:28.885-09:00Looks great! I definitely don't understand why everybody's modeling intact pods, when it seems pretty clear that the things basically explode on impact, like this models.Joe Kopenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13629085901176090088noreply@blogger.com
